Students are taught modern conversational Greek, and the classes are open to students of all ages and levels of experience from beginner on up. Classes are open to the public, however there is a charge to cover the expense of the required textbooks.
2014 Registration Information
Greek School classes will start on Sunday, September 14, 2014 at Annunciation Greek Orthodox Church and continue at St. Dionysios Greek Orthodox Church on January 11, 2015. Pre-registration is preferred by completing the form below and submitting it to Marios Sophocleous or Angela Arvanitakis to the address indicated as soon as possible, preferably before September 14, 2014. Registration will also take place on the opening of Greek School, September 14, 2014 starting from 12:30 pm at Annunciation Greek Orthodox Church Social Hall. All Greek School students need to fill out the Registration Form.
Classes of different levels will be held once a week on Sundays starting at 1:15 pm and ending at 2:30 pm. From September 14 to December 14, 2014, classes will be held at Annunciation Greek Orthodox Church, followed by Christmas/New Year break. From January 11 to May 17, 2015, they will be held at St. Dionysios Greek Orthodox Church. Everyone is welcome! The registration fee is only $25.00 per year for members of Annunciation or St. Dionysios churches, and $50.00/yr for non-members. Cost of books is extra for those who do not already have them.
Note that the books for all classes will be the same Papaloizos Publications books as used in previous years. Greek School teachers may assign students to appropriate levels at the start of Greek School classes.
