Pre-Marital Counseling

Pre-marital counseling offers couples planning to be married in the Orthodox Church an opportunity to learn about the Orthodox marriage service (sacrament) and the sacred institution of marriage from an Orthodox Christian perspective. Pre-marital counseling also gives couples practical spiritual guidance designed to help prepare them for a successful Christian marriage. All couples wishing to be married at the Annunciation are required to participate in a minimum of three one hour counseling sessions which are to take place at least one month prior to the wedding. Couples should contact a priest to schedule their sessions.
